Like that its sporty with nice body lines. Dont like the fact that it reminds me of a cavalier. Has lots of the cavaliers inside features. Like that its a 5 speed and only 98.321 miles on it. Could use upgraded parts on motor..Feb 16, 2013

I got this car because it was a good deal. Although it has to have minor repairs a little more often than I think it's still a good car. It doesn't have automatic locks or power windows but I don't like those anyway..too dangerous. I LOVE the sunroof!!Feb 21, 2012

Works god for me, cheap on gas and no problems. Good for a couple with one kid.. I used more or less for small trips, back and forth to work. Not great for big shopping trips. Not much else to say.Jul 13, 2011

Performance - no balls
Build Quality - leaked constantly and would stall while driving when it was wet out - driver door window stopped working and was near impossible to replace
Appearance - looked ok
Cost of ownership - didn't really need many major repairs

Performance on this car is remarkable for an automatic small sedan, mine has the 2.4 engine. Really fun to drive. The engine and the transmission never give problems. The car has ABS brakes, airbags and some other features. Build quality is good and the styling is very superior than its competition.Jul 29, 2010

Pretty good car. Pretty efficient. Always starts. Great in the winter with winter tires on it. For an automatic it is somewhat fun to drive. It is a 2-door so space is limited to 4 adults somewhat comfortably, 5 uncomfortably (short trip only!)Feb 22, 2010

very fast for an automatic.
solid car the only think that is worng with it so far is that i need a fuel pumep. it's pritty good on gas. i use 10-15 dollar a week. i think this car i very good looking would blow my mind if it had a body kit.Nov 02, 2009

the performance on it is ok..it handles good nd has a decent gas milage..but on its bad days it sucks...for the body to hav 173,000 miles its pretty damn clean in and out surprisingly...for what it was worth to fix it would probally add up to if i actually bought it at a dealer....i paid 400 bucks...its a fun and good first car if u noe how to play around it.Oct 23, 2009

Performance wise it pulls pretty good. plenty of torque it will accelerate strongly right up till the speedo tops out and keep going.
handleing:
throught the corners its stays reasonably level unless your rlly pushing it but its comfortable to drive not jarring so unless you put stiffer springs in its not gonna handle much better then you have a hard ride which some ppl like. doesn't act front heavy at all which is nice.
appearance good except for the front bumper (looks like a saggy camaro)
Cost: good milage on highway not so great in town cheep to insure cheep to repair unles your trying to find tail lights.
fun factor: not what it would be in a much nicer car, but for the price its got more than enough fun factorAug 31, 2009

I love the engine, it has some real kick and sounds great! Jynxie really needs a new paint job and I'm not too fond of the fabric interior or the slow windows. Stereo needs an update too, but overall a fantastic car for $2,500! XDJun 23, 2009

well it's no G8 but for an older compact car it performs very well. Acceleration is great, breaking is good, and handling is exellant. build quality is reasonable. exterior styling is good, interior styling is ok. Cost of owner ship is relativly low, when i bought the car it had just under 200,000K on it and only one significant repair wich was probably more of a fluke anyway, gas milage is good. Considering I live in an area with a few of winding country roads the fun factor on this car is high :). I would definatly recomend this car to anyone looking for an affordable entry level sport coupe.Mar 05, 2009

So far this is a great car. Picked it up at an auction this past summer at a pretty good price. Good power from the 2.2L engine and good mileage in part from the 4-speed automatic transmission. I like the 2-door styling and I picked up some 16 in. GT wheels which just make it a whole lot better.Nov 10, 2008

Performance:
Good performance for an I4
Quality: Had minor problems with Heater system fuse (connected to license plate light too)
Appearance: Stock appearance sucks... Mine looks good though...
Fun Factor: FWD, What more can I say :)

The Golden Rocket! This is my first car. Bought it when i was 17 for real cheap, and have tried my hand at tuning it up since then. It is basicly the cheapest car u can get, 2.2L Pontiac Sunfire, and 4DR. So parts, insurance, and gas mileage are all really easy to come by. Performance on this car wasn't quite the performance of a higher end sports car but it was still fun.
Build on the Sunfire wasn't bad but i did notice that it had alot of body roll to it when going around corners at a higher speed.
the car looks fairly sporty from the outside with its lower profile roof. The interior isn't much different it's very comfortable and stylish of course thats just my opinion. Jul 30, 2008

The Sunfire GT is pretty fast for the class of vehicle. It had the 2.4 DOHC Quad 4 probably the most unreliable engine GM ever built. Good power and torque, but being all aluminum weakens the engine. Mine spun the main crank bearing at 190K and these engines are not cheap.
