RX300 is almost a trouble free car since day one when I drove it out of the dealership in 1999. Great warranty and services at Peachtree street in Atlanta Georgia. I took it with me when I relocated to LA 3 years ago. Just like a trustworthy friendJul 10, 2014

Looking for a used crossover sized SUV, I found this VERY LOW Mileage (65k miles), well kept 1999 RX300! I would never have purchased such an old car except for the mileage and the fact it was owned by a "very wealthy" family who also owned several other cars where-in this one was a seldom driven convenience car and had regular Lexus Dealer service. I love driving this car to various ghost town sites and old mines here in the Nevada and California deserts! Living in Reno, I also have the ability to drive in snow with little difficulty. The only drawback is the poor gas mileage (16 in town, 21 highway) for such a small car.Apr 24, 2014

Well, I've had several Lexus vehicles as well as several SUVs... and when it comes to this car, I'm just very 'neutral'... even with the newer body styles, it still looks very bland - to a degree it looks like a minivan that is just jacked up a bit.... the inside is nice and I though the mounting of the shifter was a smart move - allowing for a little additional storage space... on the positive side, this thing is bullet proof... you can use it for 200k+ miles and it will be fine - just pay for gas and some tires and scheduled maintanance and you can drive this thing forever!Mar 05, 2014

Love this car! It feels safe - it is quiet and very comfortable! I never have any issues with anyone riding it as tall people fit in the car well. Our children also like the car as they can see out the window.Jul 12, 2013

This was my in-laws vehicle, I primarily drove it to help my mother in law out when I had gone to stay with them after my divorce... I know sounds odd, but considering they were on my side... Mileage is only fair with an average of about 16 miles per gallon.
Recent transmission fluid change and rfill with premium synthetic fluid (Ams).
Approximately 70% of brake pads remaining
Overall condition is excellent

The car was perfect for us, we had 2 girls ant the time and it fit her style needs,function and space. Now 2 kids later with a total of 4 kids we just needed more room and went with an odyssey.Other than that cant complain. If somethings needed to be replaced , example power steering, timing belt etc. that is going to be expensive but you should know that coming into it.Sep 15, 2012

Expensive to fix, It seems the engine warning light system causes trouble. We are getting rid of it, but other cars feel like junk once you are used to the Lexus. It really wasn't a bad car, it just took us a while to learn to ignore the engine light. Note to others, it's a great car, don't let the engine light ruin your experience. Apr 02, 2012

This is a gold lexus rx 300. It is awesome. Leather interior, metal bars on front an back. Rides like no other, very smooth. Not very fast. V6 engine. Very good stereo. Overall, it is a very good car despite being a 1999.Jan 09, 2010

Performance – good acceleration, ok braking, ok handling
Build Quality – air con dead
Appearance – good both interior and exterior styling
Cost of Ownership – om gas mileage, no need maintenance
Fun Factor – this car is ok to drive

new icon, and Lexus made sure everything was perfect. The interior is just like a Mercedes,
the leather is top quality, the wood is the real deal and not that cheap "simulated" kind, the
