Amazing car, easy to modify. Insane ammount of aftermarket parts. This car can drag, drift, autocross or anything else. Huge engine bay incase a 4 cyl isnt enough. Ka power is dissapointing (wasnt designed to be sold with it) but... they can be built, also; Sr20s bolt in, Rb26s work with motor mount mods, v8 mount kits found online. as performance goes, its got most acceleration from about 15 to 95 mph.. it pulls hardest around 60. its a rear wheel drive care so it tries to get sideways often which is very fun sometimes lol.. its got carbon fiber inserts in the seats and the dash and around the steering wheel.. with also a carbon fiber shifter knob and blue autometer guages.. running on tenzo type m 18s with falken drift/street radials.. gets about 23 mpg with the turbo.. highest grade fluids go into this car.. 93 octane gasoline with a third bottle of octane boost in every tank.. royal purple engine and crankcase oil.. This car is not one you want to leave alone, you constantly want to personalize it to yourself. There are many different aspects that most people love about this car. First is the appearance; it looks great! Athough, the front end did get updated in later years, the car remained the same, and the rear of this model 240SX, called the S14, is the best looking of all the variants. The 2.4 litre engine will take regular gas and can be very economical, but has enough power to get you into plenty of trouble. There are many different choices if more power is what you seek, and any import car magazine loves the S14 and the many different ways to extract more power out of it. The interior is very comfortable and very spacious, as long as you don't plan on witting 4 people in it. The back seat is best used as a storage area, rather than a seat, as if the front passengers are anything above normal height, there is no room for legs comfortably. The handling of this car is top notch, it is very comfortable, but at the same time very responsive when the driving situation turns sporty. This can of course be heightened even more with the most basic of bolt on parts. It is obvious why this car is the favorite of drifting fans and racers, as it is one of the best platforms for almost all kinds of racing. My sister used to own this 1996 Nissan 240SX about 5 years ago. It was a quick 2-seater with very little room for a 3rd or 4th passenger. It was fun to drive and relatively fast and not too bad on gas. The stick shift was a perfect distance away from the driver and made it easy to throw it up or down a gear. I really enjoyed driving this car and would recommend it to anyone.Jun 28, 2007
