I like everything when it comes to the dependability. The fuel cost is better than average getting over 25 mpg. I like the fact the they are easy to work on the hardest thing that I have had to do is change the oil filter.Mar 10, 2014

its a fun little truck for the amount of miles that are on it currently on it, it still performs very well. the only thing i have left to fix on the truck is just a front end alignment and maybe a balance and rotationFeb 10, 2011

Actually, the above spec is incorrect! It is a 4WD but it is a double cab, ie 4Dr.....not available in the drop down menu.
Have owned it about 10 years now...in that time the only failure was the ONLY item of electronics: The fuel pump relay ... electronic. Why? The hard bit was finding the damn thing: It is located above the radio area in the bowels of the dashboard!
Anyway, once that had been by-passed, we were on our way again. I have never replaced the relay either!
Performance wise, it's no sprinter, for a 2.4 I guess it's a little bit disappointing, but for the long run it's fine....smooth tireless engine, cruise all day.
Brakes more than adequate too, big rear drums work hard with a full load but very assured.
Build quality: Excellent. Then again this was Japan built....the Mexican built versions don't endure Chile's roads the same at all!
Fuel consumption is higher than one would like, a light right foot sure helps!! I reckon it's about 9km/liter.
I only gave it 3 stars for appearance 'cos the bonnet could do with a respray & the chrome on the wheels is a bit tatty. (Can't find a re-chrome service here in Chile) Aug 24, 2010

very good car, vehicles last for ever, look very stylish if you get the right wheels
and tires and get them sitting right, oh and they are very accepting to nissans line-
up of powerful turbo motors...., sr20, rb20-25 and the ca18det for the driftersOct 26, 2009

This is my second nissan truck i love these things, they rust like its no ones business but are awesome offroad, in snow, and last forever. Theres also a decent factory lift on the 4wd verision i drive like a jack ass and people shake their fists at me in fear i love it.
Theres not much to worry about, given the truck has regular oil changes, the 4cyl version develope a timing chain rattle, and the 6cyl version need the timing belt replaced as scheduled. Maintenence is cheap, i havent broken anything yet, gas is ok in the 4cyl 4wd i get 22mpg with mud tires.Nov 07, 2008

It's old, it's starting to rust but it's the most reliable damn thing you can find. If it does break, you know what's wrong with it. Haha, it's my tough old bastard.Jun 17, 2008

This is a great truck. It has great gas mileage and my truck personally looks great. Nissan trucks, or any nissan vehicle, runs forever if you keep them up.Nov 30, 2007
