Performance: SLOW, 4 cylinder. It has decent torque, and managed to pull 2200lbs worth of scrap to the scrap yard. Braking is adequet with 2 piston calipers up front.
Build Quality: Great. But plain, simple interior - ITS A TRUCK
Appearance: Best looking small truck out there!
Cost of Ownership: Got about 26mpg, only needed oil changes.
Fun Factor: Off Road.Aug 23, 2010

Most powerful 4 cylinder you can get, just keeps working, even if you break part of it. Not the best looking vehicle, but i've definitely seen worse. And it consistently pulls off things that much more expensive vehicles have trouble with. And it's light enough that it doesn't get bogged down in mud nearly as bad as full size trucks.Aug 04, 2008

This car was in my family for 12 years and it ran solid. It never needed anything more than regular maintenance.Feb 25, 2008

Wasn't a bad truck until I blew the head gasket on my way home from NY and it was time to get something new anyways so I never fixed it and eventually got rid of it.Jan 15, 2008

The power from a 2.4 has been a pleasant surprise - even with air on. With 176 K on her, Ive had to replace all of the usual suspects, brakes, battery, timing chain, alt.,power steering hoses, but the engine and tranny are quite strong yet. No leaks or drips but one from speedo gear cable. Minor though.Oct 21, 2007
