I have been very happy with the car.
Only really problem has been fuel economy.
Performs really well for its age. Has great acceleration and handles nicely for a wagon.
Heaps of fun to drive and looks good.
Plenty of options for customising as well.Apr 03, 2011

I have always wanted another commodore after owning one years ago I love the performance of my 1988 group A SS Holden commodore but that was a V8 and now I have a V6 I'm happy with and that is the main thingMar 14, 2010

the car i used to drive before i stated driving the pulsar i am driving now was a white 95 Holden commodore (automatic) though i constantly had problems with it, once it stalled at the lights for no reason, and occasionally just turned itself off WHILE DRIVING that being said it was a easy car to handle, though it did have problemsFeb 19, 2010

my vr commodore had mags a spoiler and a sports exhaust
and went as hard as it could. it was a 95 series 2 model and it
was red in colour and also lowered.it also had tinted windows
and a mad stereo system.Nov 17, 2009

It was the first cat I wanted to buy. For its age its still good.
Wouldnt change it in any way for now. It was cheap-ish few snags but am totally in love with it. So much fun to drive :DAug 30, 2009

Great power for a V6 engine, one of the best looking commodore models made, good selection of electronics gadgets, easy to get parts for, drives well no mechanical issues if treated well. however they go much better in a manual which will be my next mod along with a LS1 V8Jun 11, 2009

My 95 vr v8 was a great great car to drive ,plenty of power .It was an ex-chaser from Enfield police station. It also had abs ,airbag and also lsd rear end.the interior was light grey from an SS commodore of the same model.Feb 02, 2009

Black 1995 vs ute, vs maloo front and sides, aswell as maloo wheels (still work to be done), dislikes, already had to install new clutch and has had motor pulled out and stripped because previous owner tried to give it a quick fix it stuffed it up hardcore, but its still my baby, goes alright now but still want more power though, loads of fun in it rear tyres run like slicks makes for fun cornering and wet days, and surprisingly good on fuel which rocks overall Love the car no intent to get rid of it any time soon.Nov 04, 2008

The 95' V6 Holden Commodore is one of my favorite holdens I love the Appearance the long body Its like a perfect 10/10 womans body. The performance is great but like a big car it not so good around the corners build quality good light at the back so in the rain it can wheel spin a bit but Overall its a Holden so its a great car score it 9/10

its dark green 1995 vs commodore executive. its getting repairs done to pass road worthy at the moment. it has 17 inch vy club sport rims and a sony stereo system with a kicker sub woofer in the boot. interior is very clean and it runs well considering its only a v6.Sep 07, 2008

Overall, the car is great, as for performance, well it would be a 3 out of 5 but i have superchraged mine so its a 5 from me! The built quality is good enough and the apearance is great considering it ws 1995. I have done only engine and slight exterior work on the car and now pushing 360bhpAug 01, 2008

Reliable, colour is Raven, has all the optional extras, the only one thing that is wrong is the power steering, it's had it replaced a number of times but leakes after a year or two, it's a fun car to drive, people think I am a police officer. Interior is comfortable.Jul 18, 2008

Best pickup in it's class! This truck is a great overall mid-size truck. If you want a nice looking, good performing, solid truck for work or for yourself, and you don't want to spend over 20K on a new car, then this truck's for you. I have one in silver which I got for 18KJul 12, 2008

Awesome power and acceleration, nice interior. Cool Mags, a little expensive on fuel.Brilliant handling and good abs brakes. 11.2 kms per 100 kms. has a couple of squeaks otherwise not to shabby. love driving it.Jun 29, 2008

This is the car I currently use as my daily, a 1995 VR series 2 BT1.
5 litre, 5 speed.
One of the better looking Commodores in my opinion, also has a gorgeous metallic blue paint scheme. This is obviously the quickest out of the 4 cars I've owned so far, however it is not a cheap car to run. 73 litres will cost over $100. And I'd be lucky to get 350 kays out of a tank, and thats without belting it.
Build quality is average as with all [Australian built] Holdens in general, the usuall rattles and squeaks inside proves this. However the seats are very comfy for a car this size, and it had no problem driving up to Adelaide earlier this year.
Has never broken down, always started first click, no dramas there. Also has a nice exhaust note as I put a twin 2.5 inch system on it.
I guess you pay a price for performance, and this proves that theory no doubt. Drinks alot of fuel even when not driven hard.Jun 27, 2008
