The car handles very well, brakes are good. Steering response is a little laggy unless you replace bushings. Mine have always been reliable and fun to drive. Can not beat for the price.
Winter driving? Don't be turned off by rear wheel drive. Get good snow tires, add weight to the back, easy on the accellerator (or not) and you'll love itApr 28, 2012

for my first car i couldn't ask for something better this is not the car with the best
performance in the world but it's more then acceptable for a first car but in
comparison with the handling and the brake you see that this car was made to
have more then 200hp(like in japan) not 150. overall this car is amazing and the
best one that i drove in my life, i'm still young but i drove lot of car and i can say

As the SOHC engine goes, its not got enough umph. But like the other one, looks great, handles great, and even with a cat back exhaust, its loud as hell. Being that it was base, it was lighter, but I strongly suggest having the rear wiper/defog in your 240, as thats a hufe window, and it sucks not being able to use itOct 02, 2010

Good Car, well balanced, a lot of mods are available, a lot of potential, cheap parts, easy maintenance. Good styling, interior styling is timeless, does not look out of date. Car is extremely fun to drive. A++ for this car.Sep 23, 2010

Has a sr20 turbo motor with FMIC, intake, z32 maf, TBE, ksport coilovers, cusco front strut bar, apexi s-afc, prosport boost gauge, prosport water temp gauge, aem wideband, act clutch with street disk, and a act street light flywheel. cost more than you think to maintain. overall good car makes good power with basic upgrades. handles good and aftermaket parts are pretty non expensive. rwd makes this car fun to drive, but the stock open dif makes it a pain if your trying to burn rubber.Oct 28, 2009

Performance-acceleration i did about 6 sec. stock 0-60. braking wasnt to bad never really never really used it that much. handling idk it have a lot of body role for some odd rezon but other then that it was fun.
Build Quality- it was ok it rust alot. other then that it wasnt that bad.
Appearance- i like both vary clean looking and sporty.
Cost of Ownership- it got about 25 mpg. i really didnt have that much maintenance just the rust gave me prob.
Fun Factor- this have got to be one of the most fun car i have ever got in to i loved to drift it and to drag it was just over all fun and cheep!Oct 02, 2009

an excellent car. had alot of power for a non turbo 4-cylinder car. i had the 5 speed manuel transmission, and i loved it! if i had to change anything on it. it would be to have the ka motor out of a s14 cause of the dohc the sohc did not have much for bolt ons.Sep 20, 2009

I love my car!! Haylie is a good girl. And with her new SR heart she'll be even nicer than before!! She likes to get sideways. And the perfect 50/50 weight split balances her out in the corners. Overall she's a great car. And if you're in the market for a cheap RWD sports car. An S13 is lightweight and can EASILY be tossed around. I love my S13!!Jul 05, 2009

This is a beautiful car! Best car I have ever owned
even though I only owned three. Haha. It drives
wonderful. Really good for drifting. So much fun to
drive. I got it with lots of kilometers so it ddidnt
have much pull but I repaired it and it was pretty
quick. It just looks so smooth interior and exterior.
Love the stock seats as it hugs you. Also I might

The biggest minus to this car is that it didn't come with the same engine that Japan and the rest of the world gets. The feeling was that Americans prefer naturally aspirated motors. Such a shame. With that motor, this car would be a Japanese Mustang. Cheap power and rear wheel drive. But the handing is arguably better.Sep 01, 2008

Handles aight but needs some footwork to suit my standards. The LS1 takes care of the power business. Gas mileage with the V8 isn't super duper but it doesn't matter becuase the car is soooo much fun to drive. 1991 Nissan 240 Sx, one of the best cars I've have ever owned, KA24de stock with the exception of a cold air intake but still a blast to drive with the right amount of hp/tq. This car never gave me any problems what so ever. It was a sad day when i sold it, I still miss it to this date :(.Jul 27, 2008

I really enjoy taking this car into the mountains (in dry weather). Excellent handling, more than fast enough for winding roads, very reliable, and "fun" to work on, since things don't break very often, despite age (18 years). Fantastic handling. I do not drift, and have zero interest in drifting.
I have not found many times where a more powerful engine would help in the mountains on more "technical" roads, but a little bit of tuning up should make it pick up a bit more quickly, and breathe easier at altitude (sea level to 4,000 or 8,000ft in a day).
Second KA24E I've had (Nissan hardbody previously). Both don't pick up at all above 3,000ft ASL, with only intake and exhaust modifications. This car works best in quick, winding roads.May 07, 2008

Bought dirt cheap from a friend of a friend from work. Came with a manual transmission, rebuilt 2.4 inline 4, aftermarket intake, header, 2 3/4 inch exhaust back to the muffler. 16 inch aftermarket wheels ...etc. Had a removable sunroof. Excellent seats.Apr 09, 2008

This car is wonderfully fun to drive, and for the average price of one of these you get alot of performance, it comes equipped with a 155hp KA24DE engine, while it isn't turbocharged like its Japanese counterpart the KA has more low end power and if turbocharged would produce more power than the SRJan 14, 2008
