I have a 84 Ford tempo that will start up but I have to pump the gas even then it still spits and sputters before it dies. Jul 29, 2024

It is not a very fast car but this one might be the fastest Tempo in the area I live in. Easy to work on. Parts are cheap to buy.No matter how much this sits around my place if another car is giving me trouble and I can't drive it. The Tempo is always ready to go. Very reliable in the snow around My Hood were I live.Jun 14, 2014

Slow, ugly and amazingly fun to beat the crap out of and not care because luckily these cars practically go for free! 2.3L engine with a 3 speed auto wasn't cutting it though. It could have been better with either a 5 speed or a 4 speed Auto. Godd MPG though.Nov 10, 2009
