1991 Ford F-150 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, drivers are quite pleased with the performance and reliability of the 1991 Ford F-150. They appreciate its powerful engine options, solid build, and off-road capability. However, some drivers noted issues with the manual transmission and fuel economy, which they found disappointing. The truck's quirky appearance and age-related wear were also common points of criticism."
This truck has a 5.0L that wont quit. It has 234000+ miles and acts as though it will run for another 234000.
June 20, 2007I had this truck for about 2 years and during those two years it was a very reliable truck.
February 22, 2008Rebuilt 302, S&B Cold air intake, Airaid TBS, Shorty Pacesetter headers, Heartthrob dual exhaust. Billet Grille, Carbon Fiber Tailights, alloy fin wheels, window louvers. Rear coilover shocks.

March 26, 2008-pretty good acceleration, breaking rocks, handling is good. -Just you basic maintance and aftermarket speakers. -interior is mint and exterior is pretty nice with a little rust on wheel wells. -gas mileage sucks, maintenace is simple, -the truck is a blast to drive. its a fun 5 speed to beat on. and really good at pulling trailers.
February 15, 2010Good solid frame, starting to show the typical wheel well rust. Still that classic square body, looks as tough as it is. Great pickup off the line.
May 29, 2007Not too bad of a truck. Has the 302 with a five speed. Needs A LOT of work but ive put enough in it to know that it will start and drive everyday. Its very ugly, its like 6 different trucks smashed together. Mechanically it needs front wheel bearings, front drive shaft u-joints, a damn radio, speedometer cable, exhaust manifold gaskets, and a bigger, supercharged motor.
June 28, 2011sweet awesome puller 300 6 cylinder has tons of torquee five speed tranny seems to hold up good and a great off roader with some lockers, a lift and some good tires
July 1, 2008I love my F-150 jumps right off the line for fast acceleration when you need to, blow some one of the line, its got a 5.8 liter v-8 with 210 hp and 325 foot pounds of torque, only bad part is the gas mileage but it makes up for int in power
February 16, 2009it is a good truck exept the transmission in it is shot but the interier in it is like new there is a little bit of rust on it and it has automatic 4x4 with a 4 speed automatic transmission and a 5.0L EFI v8 that runs vary good and it only has like 200,000 km on it
May 19, 2010I bought this with my Desert Storm "war bucks". It was my first pickup truck. It was very weak, had no guts, was barely able to pull itself down the highway. I got it stuck in my driveway in Maryland, later traded it for a 4-wheel drive. It was a lousy truck overall.
