It's a 4cyl that's had hard use in Alaska. As such it has done well. After 190,000 miles and some very bad mechanics I have rebuilt the engine. I don't trust it like I would a Toyota, but it has been very reliable nonetheless, and will go another 300,000 miles no doubt. No American pickup can do that. Does great in snow. It's utilitarian, not pretty. The clutch fluid must be replaced with synthetic if you want to drive when the temperature is -20°F or lower. Otherwise you can put the pedal down, but when the clutch decides to engage makes for somewhat exciting driving.Dec 08, 2008

Fantastic truck. Great acceleration and performance if you take care of it. Too few and minor problems to even bother mentioning. The only downside is the availiability of aftermarket parts like hoods and grilles, etc. The a/m parts arent nice enough looking to warrant a purchase, so you may be stuck making thin wallet movements to make the exterior look just a little bit better. The interior with some simple seat covers and other adjustments (such as chroming the dash) can go a long way in making your ride that much more badass.Apr 29, 2008

I got this arund 1994 to replace my VW Rabbit. It was great for my job with Sutter Home since I had to drive around vineyards all the time. It was an extra cab and White... It was the go-to vehicle for us since we were mountain biking all the time and a truck is a Win.Apr 23, 2008

Solid construction. Very reliable. Just a great truck. Nothing fancy about it, it just gets the job done, and does what a light truck should. Performance ain't great, but it's a LIGHT TRUCK for crying out loud. Just needs to be able to go up hills with a buncha dead bodies in the back, or something.Feb 03, 2008

i love this truck it is an awsome truck. it was the first vehicle i ever owned. i was definetly suprised with how long it lasted me. me being young and not knowing very much about cars not keeping the oil or the fluids checked and all that but it lasted me for ever. i sold it 299,000 miles and the guy i sold it to is still driving it. i have to give a lot of props to nissan for the z24 that was in my little truck. it had plenty of power, and i had two four wheelers and i hauled them around like it was nothing with that little truck. and they make the best looking mini trucks you can have in my opinion. you can do so much to them and they are suprisingly fast. i see a lot of these trucks now days in mini truck shows i wish i still had mine lol. all and all this is a very great truck i would highly reccomend it to anyone.Mar 14, 2007
