Just bought this vehicle for an easy 800. love the look of the truck, its big heavy and full of power when you do buy this vehicle there are a few things you need to look at. first of all check the tailgate they 89 blazer is notorious for the rear window breaking down, its not really a big problem they are a dime a dozen but its somthing to look for. also check the rear shackles cause they do rot out alot on this truck not only that but even with a lift this is a pain in the ass job ( this may be more rare on southern trucks ) and also check the steering box have your buddy turn the wheel while you watch it i made the mistake of not checking this and had a scary hour and a half drive home. now overall i love this truck with the size and the power it has but im keeping it just for offroad since it is a big gas guzzler. if you find this truck for a good price i deffinately reccomend getting it.

It Had 16 lights on it. strobes, winch, custom snorkel, custom bull bar, camo, Air horn with compressor, Full Spare. It was loud no cat or muffler straight from header to tail end. This thing was a blast to own and i regret selling it so muchNov 28, 2011

I love everything about Betsy. I will never get rid of her. The only thing that I dont like is the ROT! The truck to me is priceless! No truck will ever take her place! Its so fun to drive and so much better to take Off-Roading!!! Its under construction as of right now but it will be done eventually!Aug 25, 2008

1989 Silverado Blazer. Soft and hard top, 393ci. race motor w/495ftlbs. of torque. all new metal and interior, B & M shift kit, 6in lift w/ 35 Cooper tires. Custom stereo, 15in LCD screen w/DVD player. This thing is either for show or go. Gets compliments every where I go.Mar 31, 2008

Yeah, I paid like 1500.00 for mine and I'd say it's worth it... No major problems like electrical or mechanical, the only thing that has given me problems is the throttle body which was nothing to replace used.Mar 21, 2008

I Drove one and my parents have it ,a 1989 chevy blazer s10 tahoe(the good one) has had some problems over the years but still remains to be the car you depend on when you need it. this one has the 4.3 liter v6 and has stayed pretty clean doesnt rust like some 80's cars do. I would recomend this car to someone who is into trucks and has time and money to keep it going. but otherwise has nice interior but not for someone who likes luxury. mine at least has a sun roof and we put in a cd player but still not that great of sound system which is stock. some dash parts have fallen apart like the air conditioning cover and the glove box door came off and the light stayed and drained the battery. but those little things are bound to happen with a older.Mar 19, 2008

My Blazer is a great truck. It is great on gas, compared to other trucks and SUVs.Jan 03, 2008

She is in need of some rust repair and some front diff issues but other than that she is a solid old tank that will never quit.Dec 21, 2007
