It is a Rocket.. NSW police coldn't even catch it haha. Even more fun to drive in the rain and it is a good cruising car.. Never fails to show someone up in a jap car either. Cant beat the sound of a V8!Sep 01, 2009

My first car, loved it, however due to a kangaroo, was written off quite a few years ago coming home down the western hwy from my ex gf's place, lol... I had to make a split second decision to either hit him, or try to avoid him, so I try to avoid him as I knew it would have written the car off anyway had I hit him. I did miss him, but hit a concrete barrier instead. :(Jul 24, 2009

i swapped it for an NC fairlane v8 good choice. commodores are only good for burnouts and hoons .. not bad for a little drag racin those chook cookers theyre quick off the line it gave a vn 355 a good run for its moneyJul 13, 2009

Love the roar of the engine as you put your foot down and
give it a little juice. Also the Burgundy colour brings it into a
class of it own plus dnt get me started on the handling. Its
rock hard but handles like its on rails.Jun 24, 2009

My first vl, perfomance wasnt too bad, nothing performance wise was done, ran like a standard 3.0l. Build was alright, was my first vl so i didnt screw with it very much, so nothing broke on it. appearance was a bit standard. ownership costs arent too bad, afterall, i owned it when i was 17 with no job. fun factor is really good for a rev head. driving australian built quality powered by nissan performance. Things i like about my car is it has a 7" dvd player, 1 1000w Kenwood amp, a 300w Sony Xplod Amp, a 15" sub.
The things i dislike about the car is that it is auto, has some minor damage in the front end (done by my sista but oh well can't blame family) apart from that i have a ball in the car goin to skids on a saturday niteMay 06, 2009

Bought the car from a friend & had to fix all the previous machanics work. He used silicone to fix alot of things. Had engine rebuilt July 2008. Just have to finish renovating the house so that I can finish the car. I can repainting it coke-a-cola (black with a candy apple red over the top), need to change the rims & redue the interior red & black with a dragon theme. Also need to put a 5 spped gearbox in it as it needs that 5th gear when on the open road.Jan 07, 2009

I'm not sure what Holden thought it was doing putting a half attempt feul injection system on a motor that wasn't built for it, but thats what this car was. I always had problems with the injectors clogging no matter how clean everything was, and it drank feul like a carby anyhow. Other than that, it was a typical aussie car of the era, not the best built by not bad at all.
