Ford seems to know how to make a fairly good truck, they could stand to do a little better on the build quality (interior). This one has over 750,000 miles on it (still mostly original 302). Everything still works on it as well (A/C, radio, etc.). The acceleration is amazing (but is helped with some engine mods). The handling is not bad (lots of play in the steering). It rolls around a bunch, but always grips. The brakes do an ok job stopping it (it does weigh almost 4 tons), but lock up easily. The three speed transmission is a dumb idea but it works just fine around town. When you put your foot hard down on the highway(above 65mph), since it only has three gears you get lots of noise but not a ton of acceleration. I feel safe driving it, but worry if I hit anyone I might end up killing them since modern cars are all plastic and this is iron and steel.May 05, 2014

This truck is dependable. tough looking and fun 1984 ford f150 extended cab. 351 windsor with an automatic transmission. good tags until 2012. the gas prices are whats high its not the trucks fault. this truck will keep on runningApr 30, 2011

Truck is fast doe snot burn oil no squeaks or rattle if it needed it I got it. Interior is all custom captin chair & center fold down . Shortbed all custom carpet new m/s michellen tires Turns heads Perfect PaintMar 16, 2011
