Great car. Runs like a champ all the way to 7,000 rpm. M491 Turbo body option. Mostly all original. Turn heads wherever I go. Some people think it's a $125,000 turbo because it looks so good. This air-cooled engine will run forever!Oct 02, 2013

This is my 4th Porsche and second 911SC. I love the way it sounds, responds, drives and is an art piece on wheels. It's a race car, what can I say. I'm a big fan of flat 6 engines too. Jun 21, 2010

I love my 911 sc. I call her the Hot Tamale because of my maiden name and the color. She handle very well not that I'm even close to a pro. I love the way that it looks. It does have a dent on the front fender that I am hoping to have repaired soon and get a new pain job. I am also going to be getting a complete rebuild of the engine and I am very excited about that.Apr 29, 2010

i love the speed and agility.
easy to drive.
good size
the appearance is very cool and is very good for the price of this model
its very fun to drive hearing the engines whirring down the street and seeing kids pointing at the "cool car" blue leather is very smooth

What more can be said; its a Porsche 911 !! Quality German engineering, classic looks, fantastic performance and depreciation proof. Believe it or not, its also quite reasonable to insure and run. Go on, treat yourself, you will not regret it!Jul 15, 2009

* Performance – Good Torque, brake are great, Handling - well it a Porsche. take a firm educated hand to drive properly.
* Build Quality – Strong well built car
* Appearance – Interior is lacking in the comforts but it is a sports car. Exterior is a matter of taste - I love it
* Cost of Ownership – gas mileageis 16-17 city 26 hwy. Parts are $$$

The kind of handling expected from a Porsche 911 SC. Power to Weight ratio made it a little sluggish, but still a quick car through the turns. Maintenance was expensive if done at the dealership or even independents. No question learn to repair, modify and rebuild every part of the car to save money. Stock engine management makes the car a bit of a fuel hog, but when upgraded to the 1984's EMS fuel and acceleration both improve. If you have the money to afford a beauty like this, go for it. It is a car for the discerning driver, not a drag racer.Aug 01, 2008

I really miss this car. It was classic Guards Red. One of
the best handling cars I have owned (especially after a
few choice suspension mods). It was a car I had
always wanted. She was at home in the twisties, and
on the track. The only car I've ever had that I took out
"just to drive).Jul 15, 2008
