Like most 78-81 they all have loads of rust.It looked like it could be restored in a short time,but to my surprise next year is more like it.Picked up a 78 for parts and removed every nut & bolt from both. It will a complete rebuild from the ground up also an empty cheque book. I'll update when project is complete.Jul 24, 2010

Malibu Classic 1981 , 350 4 BBL. VERY RARE TH-350 Fireball , GM 10.5 , 8 track , 274.019 miles , Ex-Taxi from Tampa FL. , fun to drive , comfy , great size , cost nothing , build for life alm ost impossible to killed. I know what im alking about lol....Jul 10, 2010

all new trailing arms rear controling arms sway bars, all stainless steel bolts, 1 inch lowering springs, drag shocks, for power ill just say the pulley belt goes to crank to alternater and one other spot =) interior is and grocery getter with alittle something extra Jun 10, 2010

Ithas a 350 waiting for a centrifugal supercharger, is already bored 40 over, freshly painted, chrome oil pan, orange block, black heads, chrome valve covers, mild cam, aluminum edelbrock performer intake, headers. looks great for an old car- two tone blue paint, IROC rims. Interior is ok- Dual radio, Pioneer 12" sub, seats and carpet are blue cloth and in nice condition. It was a blast to drive but right now the engine is out for paint and upgrades while the car is getting repainted. I am thinking of getting some Boyd Coddington or Billet Specialties rims for it-18x7s font, 18x10s or12s back.Jun 02, 2010

well the fact it's the last model 2 door and it can take any engine or trany combo U can think of. really adds to it. next engine i'm getting ready to install 455 Buick, and since it's a Buick engine I think I will install some creature comforts the car never had. like air cruise, tilt.Aug 11, 2009

was fast enough to famous. and known for the huge
accident i had with a Nissan Sunny back in 2001 lol And there
was not any dented places but couple of scratches in the

easy to fix, great cornering...interchangeability with other gm cars is a plus. breaking is not the best with the out dated rear drum brakes. but easy to upgrade.and rear frame does have a tendency to crack. but easy to fix. this car in the last 17 years has cost me almost nothing to run. parts last forever and so simple to fix anyone can do it. lots of leg room and head room, lots of truck space. very easy to dive and loves to be pushed.

This car is like my soul mate. It was my first car, its been through so many changes and additions and subtractions itll make your head spin. after turning it into a 2 door from a 4 door, its been sitting for a few years... i wanna fix my other vehicles into decent shape, then get back to making this like the drawings, and stick a 327 twin turbo in it :)Jun 08, 2008
