These mitsu-challengers are now rare and hard to find. They are love-em/hate-em. I have owned two of them and hope to find more. I am lookingforward to restoring my current challenger. These cars were very advanced for their timeFeb 08, 2011

I drive this car during the summers. Don't care for the Michigan winter salt on the roads. I get many compliments on the appearance. Good Mileage. Fun to drive. Have considered adding a turbo.
Added a performance muffler because it was to quiet.Jan 30, 2011

I know it wasn't a real MOPAR Challenger but it was a really solid sports car in its day. The 2.6 litre balanced shaft motor was large for a four cylinder. It was quick handled very predictably. I drove it hard and it never got me in trouble. It outran every four or six I raced and most of the smogged out eights until they top ended me. It came with four wheel disc brakes, a slick 5-speed dual electric mirrors and two tone paint. In four years I out over 100K on this car and it didn't burn any oil and still ran quiet. Only gripes were availability of parts in the local parts stores and forget about the aftermarket. I was able to cross reference a Weber performance carb and that was sweet. These cars have completely dissapeared from the roads. Too bad, 29 years later and it's a better car than many four bangers of today. Aug 31, 2009
