a great car in the summer with the top down sharp handling if a little tail happy when the road is wet. will keep up with modern day traffic but the fuel consumption is a little bit on the bad side for a small engine.
the grin factor has got to be a 9 out of 10 and i think another 9 for looks maintenance is cheap as long as your willing to get your hands dirty and parts are easly obtained so keeping it on the raod shouldn't be a problem.
the build quality is typical british so rust is always a problem so you need to keep on top of it all the time Apr 01, 2010

It's a people car, kids wave, old MG owners tell their stories - everybody loves it! Of course, you have to have a great mechanic. I'm still searching! But there's nothing like riding it top down in the summer. Cost:expensive, so what? It's priceless! And worth it. Okay, did I write a long enough review now? : )Aug 19, 2008

Got this from my wife, (birthday present)the car looks good, is great fun in the sun, cheap to insure and easy to maintain.Goes ok but you cant compare to a modern car. It also (unlike modern cars) has not gone down in value for the six years I have owned it.Jul 28, 2008

Another of the many sports cars my dad owned in the eighties, light blue with black interior, cassette player, chrome wheels. The carburator caught on fire once, but my dad was able to put it out in time. He sold it because he needed to downsizeApr 14, 2008
