Car had seen better days interior was showing signs of wear but still servicable

What I really love about this car is the styling. Second Generation Camaros are my favorite. For having a 305, automatic transmission, and 30+ year old suspension, it can really kick ass! It's just a work in progress which I am thinking about selling, but I'm not too sure. I would really like to get a 2006 Pontiac GTO or a 1993 GMC Typhoon. Jul 30, 2010

i like the fact that my camaro is built just perfectly to run great
and be very fast. but its body is not in the greatest condition
right now it needs alot of work. this car would be so much
better if i had money to invest into it.Oct 01, 2009

This car is hot! Engine is a 350 bored over to 355 cid. It is a 3 speed on the floor. It has a mini spool in the rear end ( that makes it a posi rear end). Launches hard from a dead stop. will put your head back. This car will also be gone through , when my firebird is complete, will beat the crapp out of it for now!! ( Its a Chevy!! It'll last).

This car was inexpensive and a nice buy. I love driving it and restoring it to it's former glory with my dad. The legacy of Camaros has always made me look in amiration at them and when I'm older I would like a newer Camaro SS.Jun 14, 2008

Ive rebuilt this car from the ground up and should hopefully have it on the road next year. It is currently running but the interior needs to be finished up and a few mechanical things need to be finished off.
Recent work in 08 is emergency cable rerouting, tranny rebuild and new heater core. See just throw 100 dollar bills at it and it runs great.........=)May 16, 2008

This is what being a teenager is all about. Different generations have different cars that fit
this bill but this is a perennial. Put any teenage boy behind the wheel of this and they will
want it. 5.7L V8, 4-speed manual transmission, power brakes, rear wheel drive with a
3.73:1 positraction rear end. Seriously?
Yes! And boy does this sucker go! Still a bit before overdrives, the 4-speed was a thrill to
row through. Don't wanna row through gears? Put it in 3rd and start out and do 0 to 110.
That's called "tractable" kids.
Alloy wheels looked sharp and it even had a tiny back seat if you wanna cram your friends
in for a short trip across town. They won't wanna be stuck there for long trips however.
This car was great. Fast, reliable, easy to work on, parts are cheap and plentiful. The
ONLY negative was gas mileage... but face it when you have a Z/28 you know what you're
getting into. This is a great car for two - using the backseat and little trunk for your road
trip needs.Feb 14, 2008

I have had three 1978 Chevy Camaros throughout my life. This is my favorite car forever! I have one totally restored at the present with only 45,000 original miles, build sheet, etc. One of a kind!!!May 13, 2007
