My 1977 Toyota Celica GT Liftback was my first car at 16 years old. I drove it for 8 years and it was a great car. It put up with my couple of fender benders and survived my brother putting it into a wall too. The car ran and ran....the minuses as I pointed out that for todays market it is pretty powerless. I had it running sans cat converter, smog pump and used a super wide exhaust. This was before bi-annual smog testing, well it took the car for a 105 MPH top end to 125 MPH top end. I sold it in 1984 in favor of the 300ZX I bought. This was aferall the "poor mans" Z Car. I wish to heck I had some pictures of her to put up, I also looked to buy one just for the heck of it but good luck finding one that isn't a rust bucket.Nov 25, 2011

These early Celica's are great, easy to work on, i've owned about 30, I restore and sell these Celica's and the parts on Ebay, This one was one of my Favorites, Looked and drove like a new car. Thanks for taking a look, 77sellicaNov 13, 2011
