Performance: Since the car is from the late 70's the
performance lacks a little bit due to the introduction of
emission controls under the hood.
Build Quality: The car is 32 years old and has no
major/moderate problems.
Appearance: the car is just drop dead sexy
Cost of ownership: It is expensive, I only get 8 m.p.g.
Fun Factor: The car has a lot of torque, so it's pretty fun
to drive.Mar 11, 2010

this was my very favorite car, it had the most comfortable interior i ever had and the exterior allowed for alot of flying down the freeways
maintenance was basically standard oil changes, spark plugs, nothing extraordinary, added to the fun for me
had a cb radio in this one and used to check out the smokey reports before i flew down the freeway, was an awesome ride the most memorable car of my life, IF you ever find one NEVER LOAN IT TO ANYONE, my best friend of that time borrowed it and totalled it - saddest thing that i can think of right nowOct 10, 2009

This car accelerates fast with lots of power, does burnouts a quarter mile down the road, brakes good with anti-locks, and handle just right. This car when first bought needed a new fuel pump to run, and after it was in, it ran great. No squeaks, rattles or road noises. This car looks really cool inside and out and is very comfortable. This car is very fun to drive, do burnouts, whatever you want, because its got the power. Only one setback, on 12 miles to the gallon. With its 351M and 4,500 pounds (yeah its a boat) to carry, thats actually good mileage.Aug 23, 2009

A large car with a 400 engine with an Edelbrock intake and 650 carb. Rides nice and very reliable for age. Mileage is not good at all. Good interior with very comfortable seats. Insurance rate is very cheap. I'm the 3rd owner.Jun 06, 2008

This really does feel like a boat to drive, and is about the same size as one. You can barely tell you're even on the road. The car has no road feel, is extremely quiet, and comfortable. The transmission is so smooth you cant tell when it shifts. The engine is pretty unreal too, the 351M is a great engine all around, and it can be stroked easily. It is very easy to work on. The only really electronic device on the car, the cold start system, has been my only problem, so I just took it off. Some people seem to think its too big, but I've never really had too much of a problem with that. For a car this large, it has great acceleration, and handles better than expected. The car is exceptionally cool in every aspect, especially with vacuum headlight covers, retractible windshield wipers, seating for 10, and 20 square feet of chrome.Feb 18, 2008

Great straight line run but no slalom courses. I future I'll redo the suspension both front and back along with the steering linkage. Maybe get air bag suspension along with rear ladder setup and beefier sway bar. Up front needs to be redone too with newer technology suspension.
Definitely need to get some new interior upholstery done.Jan 07, 2008
