What owners say
"Overall, owners really enjoy the 2005 Ford Thunderbird for its fun driving experience, beautiful design, and comfortable interior. Many drivers appreciate its performance and reliability, noting it as a great cruiser, especially with the top down. However, some reviewers pointed out drawbacks like limited trunk space, a lack of manual transmission option, and some difficulty in getting in and out for older users."
Beautiful design and great driving vehicle. Very comfortable but little hard for older person to get into and out of.
June 9, 2024I have a 2005 50th anniversary edition. 93,000 miles. Great car, fun to drive all original (except tires and brakes) gives no trouble and gets around 18 mpg around town.
October 29, 2021I personally dont like the white hard top on the red car. The monotone exterior is usually the sleekest.

October 4, 2021Love the style, comfort and performance. The T-bird is a "soft" sports car, it is fun to drive, it has great acceleration and is a perfect highway cruiser. Very, very reliable, and cheap to maintain. Ford's quality is for real!
September 12, 2009The 05 T-Bird is as advertised. Fun to drive and in great condition. These Birds seem to keep their value.
October 4, 2020As posted on Hagerty, unforgettable is simply not a big enough word to describe Ford’s Thunderbird, built with two seats only, even people who couldn’t care less about cars will more often than not stop and view it. With its classic portholes on each side for rear side views, it would be hard to find anyone of a certain age who doesn’t recognize it. You also don’t see many T-birds running around the streets anymore. According to David Tulowitzky, of the CTCI’s Trail Birds of Southwest Florida chapter, “There might have been other popular collector cars that have popped up in recent years, but I don’t know of any other model that has surpassed the T-bird. Today muscle cars are drawing more and more attention as a whole, but there isn’t one particular model that stands out as much as the T-bird, certainly among casual observers.” This car’s a star!
February 2, 2015Drive and rides very nice. Wife's car and she loves the Cashmere color and looks. White cashmere leather interior feels soft and is better than the basic 50 Anniversity we had previously. The retro look is stunning and has a lot of the modern conviences. Hardtop with th portholes is a throughback to the fifties.
May 31, 2014Would have liked a manual trans option. Passenger power seat not available. Not a good car for a trip due to small trunk and no usable space behind seats. Still, it is a great car to drive for a night out.
April 7, 2014This car ride wonderfully- Me, BB King, Eric Clapton & the North Georgia Mountains~heavenly! Put the top down this car ads to the scenery. The power and handling is the best. Once you drive/ride in it you will want it.
December 13, 2010An awesome cruising machine. Nice PowerPoint and an undeniable cool factor.
