Car has bad compression in two cylinders and horrible leak down results in two cyclindera. Definitely needs an engine rebuild (bad piston rings). Impossible to tell if it was painted the correct green (several lime green colors in 76. Also no proof it’s the correct engine for the car.Nov 01, 2022

Fun race car for Porsche Club Racing or Historic Racing. Fast, handles well and stops even better. Low cost way to get into racing and Porsche Club Racing is a great social group that values you and the cars. Thanks.Dec 14, 2013

First of the uber-Porsches. Fast and ferocious (can you say turbo-lag?). More performance than luxury. VERY reliable but Black cars sometimes live life in the paint shop for a host of reasons!
Learned to drive it at Sears Point (Bondurant's school) and then spent copious sums of money refining and race-proving this car. Best 911 I ever owned. In fact I'm going to quit with this review business:
1976 911S
1981 911 Targa
1989 911 Carrera Cabriolet
1958 Speedster replica w/240 HP 914 engine
1957 VW single cab Type2
1963 Ragtop (for sale)
2002 Passat W8 4MotionJul 24, 2013

Was my dream car. Puchased for 18k. Was a beautiful car, Diamond Blue with a
cream interior. Used for our "Sunday" drives. Best drives were Ortega Highway
and Highway 18 to Big Bear. The suspension was so stiff that the car handled like
a slot car.Dec 16, 2012

My wife got me this from a guy who didn't know much about the car. So I did a lot of fixing on it and now I love the way it runs. I replaced the fuel control pressure (warm-up) regulator, did a tune up and a few other things and she runs great. Very strong and frisky. The body is perfect and recently painted Ice Mint green with a clear coat. All green leather inside, front seats worn a bit, back and trim leather is near-perfect. Jul 05, 2008

Classic 911 with SC flares and the bulletproof 3 liter engine. Finished in Lapis blue with black leather. I bought it myself in LA last fall. Rustfree beauty with classic lines.Jan 12, 2008
