Italien styling and Karmann coachwork is a wonder to behold with a nice paint coat and a good polish. The stance and design of this car is eye catching and the driving experience is pure sport and loads of fun. Took it down the west coast - a dream road trip in this car. Nov 11, 2012

I like everything about this car. It turns more heads than a 911 because there are so many of them in 40+ years of production. The 1.8 engine is fair and I can always put a 6 cyl. in it. Easy to work on. Targa top is superb. Jan 03, 2012

Just like a Go Kart on steroids! Awesome handling car. Low to the ground, has a roll cage, racing seats and 5 point harnesses. It's set up for the track so it rides pretty harsh on the street. Turns a lot of heads when we drive it on the streets!!!Sep 16, 2009

Performance - overall, very good. Slow acceleration
and decent top speed for it's time period. However,
this is all made well by some of the best handling
ever achieved by a car.
Build Quality - '70's german steel = meh. rusts
easily. fickle engine, but very easy to work on.
Appearance - highly debatable. I absolutely adore
the styling, but it isn't for everyone.
Cost of Ownership - gas mileage: very good for
such an old car, 25-30 mpg. maintenance: it's a
hole in your driveway that you throw money into.
Fun factor - off the scale.Aug 10, 2009

she is a go cart more than a car built for drift and cornering
very stable but it is more volkswagen than it is a porsche very
reliable engine and very easy to maintenance cheap to drive
and a cheap way to say i am a proud owner of a mighty
porsche good for 2 people it is a fun car that you will love to
drive it no matter her age she is allways stable and ready to
give you a lot of acceleration and performance a very good
sports car with its middle positioned 6 cyl. porsche engine
even the 4 cyl. vw models are very goodJun 24, 2009

Well, what can I say, I love my car... if you can pick one up, whether it's in good condition or not, I highly recommend them. They are great project cars because they have relativly accessible parts suppliers. You will not regret!May 17, 2008

I had this car for about a year and only got to drive it about 2 weeks the rest of the time it was broken. Weak engine parts, weak transmission, painfull to work on both physically and financially.Mar 07, 2008
