The Toyota Celica are truly JDM Legends, after years of existence they are still
one of the sought after collectibles by auto enthusiast and collectors alike. As my
daily driver gas mileage is a bit off since the gas prices are increasing, but fun on
the road? 5 Stars. You can just play with it, You'l absolutely love it when you here
the Mikuni ITB's with Velo stacks, heads will turn. I'm proud to say that I have many
offers for this car, even as I'm driving it!Oct 21, 2011

It is very well built, the paint stayed good for 36 years. Right now mine has been
wrecked, so it is in the process of being repainted and all the body work done in my
vocational school. No mechanical problems after all these years, so you know
Toyota cared about quality. It is a 5-speed manual, which makes it a ton of fun to
drive. Definatly a head-turner! Sep 08, 2010

My First car. Gave it ever living hell. It just kept on running. I even done some Dukes of Hazzard stuff in it. Even got my 1st 2 speeding tickets in this car. Didn't do much to but put a cassett player and some seat covers in it.May 28, 2009

This car has been in the family before I was even born. My Dad bought it New Jersey in 1988' and modified it in paint, trans, springs and wheels. But after 1994 he started to neglect it because he started to modify old Volkswagens. The neglect has taken the car almost entirely until I realized that he stopped having interests on it. So he passed the car to me and I have been planning to "bring it back to life." Fortunately the car turns on by the turn of the key and when it is driven it does not bog along like many older cars. Although the car does need restoration, many people offer large amounts of money for it (pretty much the amount of money it would take to restore it!). The car has over 100,000k original miles on it but runs like new. The engine is an 18R 2.0 liter connected to a 5 speed manual trans. Unlike the wimpy Celicas now, this Celica is rear wheel drive and has lots of torque. This Celica was the base blueprint in which the Toyota Supra was born from, called the Celica Supra. This car means so much to me and no price can be placed on it. (The white Celica with the small spoiler is my Dad's. He bought it recently just for the hell of having 2 Celicas at home.)Sep 09, 2008

I bought mine back in 1980. It was chocolate brown with gold BMW rims. The engine was so quiet, that you didn't know it was running at idle. I gave it to my brother in 1983 after I added 120,000 miles to the 69,000 alrady on the car. Feb 07, 2008

simple to repair, simple to drive, simple to own. What's not to love? okay, it didn't have Air Conditioning or a decent stereo. And mine had a black vinyl top, but Seriously! it was a great car!Jan 10, 2008
