One family-owned 70 Impala custom. With Factory ls5 454. Short shaft Turbo 400. 12-bolt posi track rear end. 64000 MI.
Let me tell you. Shes a beast. How many cars do you know of. Where you can sit on your front living room couch. LOL. And go hundred plus miles an hour. I feel like youre floating on a cloud.
And thats my two cents worth. Murphy.

The front chrome bumper gives the car a tough and slick appearance. Unlike the 1969 model however the 1969 rear bumper was a little more stylish than the 1970 in my opinion. My 1970 was not equipped with a power booster break system which makes quick stopping difficult, Not to mention drum brake all around.Mar 06, 2014

I honestly don't like nothing specific about this car, I absolutely loved everything about it!!
I mean just look at this car how could u not love everything about it... It's a classic, it has a unique body design, it demands your attention when you see & hear it approaching. This is a real weekend warrior type of vehicle that anyone would love cruising around town or over to your local strip!Mar 01, 2014

I liked everthing about this car! The look, the feel, the attention it draws when out cruising about... I love that the maintenance on it is so affordable, plus it is very easy to keep clean & up to par.
Thou if it's one thing I hate it's the gas consumption due to the cam.Feb 27, 2014

This car is truly a classic American car, The thing I love the best is the styling. 1970 was a great year for cars especially Chevrolet. I like the idea of a full size car with a full frame , quality built car.Feb 10, 2013

Oriental Blue CANDY paint with black leather Gucci ragtop. Interior, Gucci cloth seats with leather pipping, chevy symbol in the back window is Gucci also. The engine is a small block 350 bordered over 50, chrome fixtures as well under the hood. 24'' rims, 5inch tv screen on cd player, all clarion music(2500 watt system). All new chrome besides rocker panel, they where not making remanufactured rocker panels for this year car at the time; replaced all other chrome. Fast car, a show stopper in tip top shape! 67,330 miles

I still have my 70 caprice custom coupe after 25yrs. I love it ! The 454 has more power than it needs. The Z-24 package makes it handle good for as big as it is. I put headers & duels on & my son & grandsons call it the (Big Noisy Car!)I hope to restore it some day. My 7 yr old son said he wants it some day ! Sep 08, 2009

!!!!!I have an army model too.
Also in germany
Where do you live?
I have a 4 door hardtop Sport sedan too
No windowopeners. No watch inside.
engine 350
Color was silver and with a black vinylrooftop
but over the years not silver anymore, only rust.
but only surfacely. all other was in excellent condition.
my one only needs 11-12 ltrs/ 60 mls.
really great
I´ve heard that the army models are very rare. GM got an order at this time to produce for the army. Only appr. 5000 cars. Has someone more informations about that fact?
