this is my first car/ project car. it desperatly needs a makeover and some bodywork and a new paintjob would help. it runs perfect for being a 44 year old car. we just recently yanked the engine and are rebuilding it now. i plan to make this car a show car and a daily commuter. the car has a 283 turbo fire 195 horsepower small block and a 2 speed powerglide transmission. it is a fun car to drive!Jan 23, 2011

hell, they drive it on supernatural, what's not to like?
Looks nice, performs amazingly, a little costly, smells a little funny, but i'm working on that. runs really well, loads of trunk space and looks awesome, did i mention that?Mar 29, 2010

I owned a 67 for 4 years. It had heavy duty suspension from a 396 wagon, a modified 327 and powerglide tranny. It got 12 MPG. It handled well and stopped great because of using police drum brakes (never had brake fade). My next will sport discs up front and modernized 327. Looks good too. Fave thing was it purred like a kitten until you floored it then it roared like a lion.Feb 22, 2010

I paid cash for it when I started driving (in 1979). It ran. It had 4 doors and was tan. It used about as much oil as it did gas. Didn't drive it every day. It was my very own. Mom had to borrow it sometimes.Aug 18, 2009

They don't build cars like these anymore. You want a sweet looking car that won't let you down this is it, it just might empty your wallet to fill up. It's a blast to drive. Also watch supernatural great show, they got my car.Aug 04, 2009

Performance - acceleration, braking, handling: If it hooked it would be decently fast, brakes, umm, uhh, They don't do much lol, yet, handles better than some cars of the era.... Rides alright for live axel, probably cause of the coil overs.Jul 27, 2009

My Impala has a 350 Big Block, power brakes and steering, handles like a dream, accelerates extremely well. She is black with a dark red interior. She gets around 18-20 mpg. The 1967 Impala is a great car for beginners or veteran drivers.Dec 22, 2008

This car looks great with the top down. It is definitely a boat but rides beautifully. It doesn't have amazing power but does pretty good for a small block in a car this big. It definitely gets a lot of looks from everyone. A real fun car to cruise in.Sep 03, 2008

My father was a car repair man and tower. He could make a rusty car shine like new. He got it in a silver cover. He made the car nice and fast with a smooth ride it was fun. You would have loved it yourself. I now know alot about cars from my father.Jul 26, 2008

Styling: Long, low, wide and curvaceous..
1967 is easily the best-looking model-year of the full-size Chevrolets of the 1960's, and the Impala Sport Coupe,
with it's sweeping "fastback" roofline, is the best of the best,
in this reveiwer's opinion.
Comfort: The coil-spring suspension provides a smooth "glide" ride, and the interior is airy and spacious.
Performance: Even the base V8 (283) has power to spare.
The optional high-performance engines (327, 396, 427) turn these big beautiful cars into real "road rockets"!
I've owned 40+ cars over the years, and my '67 Impala and Bel Air are among my all-time favorites.

This car was a dream of mine since I was a kid and when I found this car I have to say I almost cried. I love this car and hope one day to be able to own a whole collection of Impala's. Although the '67 will always be my favorite it was a hard struggle coming up with the money, but worth every bit of energy and money spent. I plan on doing alot with this car and will probably never sell it. I hope others out there get the same joy of feeling free sitting in their '67 rag top. I love this car and know you'll love it to.Oct 03, 2006
