I love it and will keep it forever. I'm not going to be like the other car enthusiasts that say, " I had a car just like that when I was young" How many more words to I have to type. Not everyone will even find an El Camino to restore. Apr 10, 2012

My El Camino looks as if it came out of The Road Warrior. It is faster than
my friend's Volvo S40, yet it only has two speeds. I especially appreciate
its ability to travel along the asymptotes at the "edges" of the universe,
something most other cars I have driven cannot achieve. To accomplish
this, the car produces its own renewable oxygen/carbon monoxide supply
for the driver and passengers.Jul 19, 2010

likes..looks,sounds,power,truck/car versatility, only a few out there, real head turner, fun to cruise in............. dislikes.....poor old school handling/braking,upgrading soon,,gas mileage sucks,no surprise there,,finding replacement parts not easy or cheap,, again,no surprise. Overall very happy with it.!! I also drive a VW golf . good little fuel sipper, peppy, versatile h/b with folding seats, sunroof, nice stereo, did i mention fuel saver, kinda high maitenance costs though... AS for recommending a car to anyone, buy what suits your needs/budget. The VW is a daily driver,my Camino is a fairweather fun cruiser/carshow hopper, daily driver...not so much.I think my next car is gonna be a motorcycle though?Aug 12, 2008
