An El Camino was somewhat of my dream car, and I was lucky enough to make one my first car. The way the car handles makes you feel like never driving anything else, but it leave some desired in acceleration & that gas tank burns away quickly. I'm planning something of an engine swap to make up for those shortcomings.Feb 22, 2012

Bad MPG but I loved driving it around. i made it really fast and handled okay. The Chevrolet El Camino is my favorite model by GM. This car can bring lots of fun and makes great for racing. A lot you can do to this car for a project.Jul 22, 2011

In all aspects of perfomance the car is sound I have had it to 115 mhr only running on the two barrel now the fours open like they should. I punched it the other day and left both rear tire marks for about 200 feet the motor has been replaced from the 305 to a 350 with the 350 turbo trans. Like all older cars it has needed parts A arms, water pump, feul pump, radiator, oter than that she runs like a champ. This car is very fun to drive for a person with a heavy foot she will kick it sifeways in a hurry the paint is purple with metalic flake driver seat is worn from so much geting in and out.
