With a 95bhp 1798cc engine, performance was good, but dropped if the twin carbs got out of sync. I noticed a slight rattle from the engine, but was told it was the little ends and was not urgent. however on a long journey the noise got worse and less than 10 miles from home, when pulling out from a T junction the engine locked solid. The tops of the front wings and the outer sills were prone to rusting. Eventually a family forced its sale... Feb 10, 2012
