I like to take the car out for rides. It is great on the two lane country roads. I do not like to take the car when I am working as there are not enough good spots to leave the car. I have had the car on 100 plus mile trips...no worries or problems. Car is ready for a road trip. It is not a driver as much as it has been a show car. It has spent a good deal of time under the car cover.Jul 01, 2013

The car has only a single braking system and however you make sure its ok you feel a bit unsafe. Ill have to get it converted to ( mainly) 2 systems .
Spares are generally plentiful bearing in mind its a 50 year old carJun 29, 2013

The Thunderbird was a great road car. The handling was very good considering it was built in 1963. The interior was very spacious and fit and finish was good. This was a very heavy car and took a lot of power to move, causing the 390 to suck gas and plenty of it. The engine parts were hard to get to and heavy to handle. The styling made this a timeless classic. Dec 03, 2011

I've always loved 1963 Tbirds and had a chance to buy this one at a good price so I snapped it up. It is still and will remain Left hand drive in Australia. Lot's of fun to cruise with and get Smiles per gallon not miles per gallon. To see more of this and other 1963 Thunderbirds go to my website www.1963thunderbird.net Aug 03, 2008
