A 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This review isn't exactly what Car Gurus is probably looking for when they asked me to "Add" a car I owned, but oh well, I do own it and love racing it! Not your typical road racer!Feb 06, 2015

Beautiful lines, very attractive car, loads of fun! While not much of a performer in stock trim, can be made to have reasonably good handling and performance at minimal additional cost if you are rebuilding the car. Popularity of car means lots of reproduction parts are available at relatively low cost... similar to Mustangs. Many restoration houses around, fairly easy to fix or get fixed.Jun 10, 2014

this car is approximately 800 hours into a full rotisserie restoration. the pictures are just a few of a full photo documentation of the project. they show me cutting out some rusted sections, fabricating new pieces, and welding and blending into lace. I have done this on every inch of the car. all sheet metal has been replaced, such as floors, inner and outer rocker panels floor braces, door skins inner quarter panels and more. a labor of love.Sep 02, 2013

Love the car , it is my hobby since I'm retired , like to see some thing as beautiful as the Thunderbird comes back to like , almost as nice as day one .
Hate to Part with it if some one should wants to buy it , I'm doing another one right now , it's a standard shift . 70% done on it .Mar 05, 2012

200 Hp moves this heavy 50's "sportscar" better than I expected. this base model could use power options but it stops and steering isn't bad once it's moving. it is a comfortable criuser . Handleing is typical of 50's cars. Attracts a lot of attention and is nostalgic ,illiciting stories, which add to the enjoyment of owning itOct 20, 2009
