How much does the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz cost?

There are 180 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz earns a 4.88/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, modern technology, and spacious interior, and they also like the way it blends utility with comfort. The main trade-off is that some shoppers question the durability of certain electronic features and the limited payload capacity. With 26.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centred on comfort, technology, and everyday usability. That said, some buyers do raise concerns about certain electronic features, so it is worth checking how everything operates on a used example. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the truck’s convenience features have aged well.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,497 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz's resale value?

The current average of $32,519 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,479 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Santa Cruz easier to buy now but may also temper near-term resale gains. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal. A well-kept example should still attract interest, especially if it presents as a clean, versatile used truck alternative.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,805 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,519 CAD average.
• It introduced Hyundai's distinctive compact pickup formula with car-like unibody construction.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,392 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $32,519 CAD average.
• It adds a few updates while keeping the same utility-focused formula.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want to pay more for a newer example, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
