What should I look for when buying a used Dodge Charger?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Active Driving Assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with vulnerable road user detection, active lane management, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, and drowsy driver detection.
• Infotainment: Uconnect 5 with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada’s fuel economy estimates land at 14.1 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.0 on the highway, and 11.8 combined for the 2026 Dodge Charger R/T. In the Scat Pack, expect to burn 14.5 L/100 km city, 10.0 highway, and 12.5 combined.

Which Dodge Charger trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger offers these trims:

• Charger Scat Pack: This trim steps up to 550 hp, an eight-speed automatic transmission, standard all-wheel drive, and the kind of straight-line punch that defines the Charger’s personality.
• Charger Scat Pack Plus: This version adds the larger 16-inch display, built-in navigation, a wireless charging pad, and a 360-degree camera with additional parking views, making it the best-value pick for shoppers who want more convenience and tech.

What Dodge Charger do most buyers choose?

The Dodge Charger years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2021.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choice in trims, colours, and price points, which makes it easier to compare listings and find the right fit. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so inventory moves more visibly.

What is the Dodge Charger's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which creates better opportunities for used buyers. A few years are moving in the opposite direction, showing that demand remains strong for certain newer and well-liked versions.

The 2019 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2023, 2014, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
