What Subaru Legacy do most buyers choose?

The Subaru Legacy years with the most listings are 2016, 2018, and 2017.

These years tend to attract the most attention because they combine strong availability with pricing that stays within reach for many used-car shoppers. They also sit in the sweet spot where you can find a broad mix of trims, equipment, and mileage levels.

What is the Subaru Legacy's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, and several have posted double-digit declines. That creates a favourable setup for used buyers who want more car for the money, especially in the older and mid-cycle model years.

The smaller declines on the newest entries suggest those recent versions are softening more gradually than the rest of the range. Overall, the pattern points to broad price pressure across the lineup rather than stability.

The 2023, 2022, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
