For the year, the car has a great amount of modern features. Drives great in the snow, is comfortable with plenty of room, driver assistance features all worked as they should. The only thing missing is Apple CarPlay/android auto. You simply cannot compare anything to the Legacy. Maybe a BMW 5 Series. In terms of value - the legacy wins every time.

Had this car for 6 years, honestly a fantastic vehicle. If you’re a Top Gear fan, One of the 2 models approved by all 3 gents (Jeremy’s antics aside). Had standard Subaru head gasket leak - but never got worse. Got Harmon Kardon speakers inside, great AC, awesome AWD. Loved this car to death! Highly recommend - will keep you safe in snow. Just upkeep on maintenance and it’s your ride or die.

So far so good! Low mileage, one owner car that was all dealer maintained. Only 115,000km on a 13 year old car. Its the 3.6R limited trim so it also has nice extras.

CarGurus recommends the 2018 Subaru Legacy
Summary
With 53 currently listed for sale and an average price of $15,128 CAD, 34.0% of 2018 Subaru Legacy listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2018 Subaru Legacy 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2018 Subaru Legacy stands out as a midsize sedan that puts all-wheel drive at the centre of its appeal. In this generation, Subaru made AWD standard across all models, while also giving the car a more refined character with a quieter interior, a stiffer chassis, and better ride quality. It also brought a strong safety and technology focus, with EyeSight standard, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included, and a 4.2-inch LCD colour display in the gauge cluster. For buyers who want a practical sedan with winter-friendly traction and a long list of standard equipment, that combination is a major part of the Legacy’s draw.
The 2018 model year also benefited from a mid-cycle refresh that brought revised styling, an updated infotainment system, and a re-tuned suspension. Subaru Starlink infotainment was the big addition, and the manual transmission was discontinued with this refresh. Standard equipment remained generous, and the Touring trim added an 11.6-inch infotainment screen along with features such as dual-zone climate control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, and lane change assist. Higher trims could be equipped with items such as heated rear seats, leather seats, navigation, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and Nappa leather upholstery.
There are a few trade-offs, though. The Legacy’s styling is described as dull, its interior can feel cheap, and its performance is sluggish. Even so, the 2018 Subaru Legacy remains appealing because it combines standard AWD, strong safety content, and useful technology in a package that tends to cost less than some rivals.
