Used RAM 3500 for Sale near Princeton, BC

How much does the RAM 3500 cost in today's market?

Used RAM 3500 prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The RAM 3500's current nationwide average price is $65,020 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $65,020 CAD. That puts today’s average right at the model’s yearly low point.

Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the RAM 3500 is a strong choice if you want heavy-duty capability with a more comfortable, well-equipped cabin than many trucks in its class. The all-generations owner rating is 4.67/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise its towing strength, powerful diesel performance, and spacious interiors. They also frequently highlight comfort, upscale features, and useful touches like RamBox storage and advanced infotainment.

27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are RAM 3500 models reliable?

Owners and experts consistently praise the RAM 3500 for its strong towing ability, powerful engines, and comfortable cabins. Across the model years, the truck is also recognised for its heavy-duty capability and broad equipment list, which adds to its appeal for demanding use.

• Owners rate the RAM 3500 between 4.0 and 5.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is worth weighing carefully because some model years are associated with transmission, fuel economy, and diesel-system concerns.

What RAM 3500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 3500 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, more trim and configuration choices, and a better chance of finding the equipment you want. They also sit close enough to the newest generation to deliver the modern tech and capability many shoppers are after.

What is the RAM 3500's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, and several recent ones show double-digit declines. That pattern favours used buyers because it creates more room to find value in newer trucks. A few older years are changing only slightly, while one year is moving sharply higher.

The 2015, 2018, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used RAM 3500 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −13.09% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −16.73%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 27.1% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 28.5%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $69,109 CAD.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
