How much does the Lincoln Navigator cost in today's market?

The Lincoln Navigator's current nationwide average price is $65,916 CAD, and over the past year that average has dipped as low as $58,538 CAD. Those figures show how much pricing can move for this model, especially as newer model years come into the market.

Recently, prices have come down for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

What should I look for when buying a used Lincoln Navigator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: BlueCruise, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centring assistance, post-collision braking, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, and Turn Signal View.
• Infotainment: Lincoln Digital Experience with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch centre touchscreen control centre.
• Fuel efficiency: 13.9 litres per 100 kilometres observed fuel economy, not far off the official Natural Resources Canada rating of 13.5 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator offers these trims:

• Navigator Reserve: This is the base version and the best-value starting point if you want the Navigator’s core luxury, technology, and presence without moving up the trim ladder.
• Navigator L: This longer version adds more cargo room behind all three rows of seats, making it the better fit if you regularly carry people and luggage at the same time.
• Black Label: This top trim brings the most upscale presentation, and it suits you if you want the richest cabin treatment and the most exclusive feel.
• Black Label Special Edition Package: This package adds blacked-out wheels and details for a more distinctive look, along with the illuminated star logo on the grille and the front and rear light bars.

What Lincoln Navigator do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Navigator years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2022.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right colour, trim, and equipment mix. They also tend to attract the broadest buyer interest, which is why they often become the most popular used picks.

What is the Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the model line, which is good news if you are shopping used. Several years have seen double-digit price drops, so you can often step into a well-equipped Navigator for meaningfully less than its original asking price.

The smallest year-over-year changes belong to the older model years, which suggests they have already absorbed much of their early value loss. That can make them appealing if you want the lowest entry price and are comfortable shopping farther back in the lineup.

The 2019, 2021, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Lincoln Navigator safe?

• 2025: 10/10
• 2023: 8/10
• 2022: 8/10
• 2021: 8/10
• 2020: 9/10

BlueCruise is standard on the 2025 Navigator, and it adds hands-free driving on approved roads with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning.

For the safest used buy, the 2025 model posts the highest confirmed score of 10/10.

Should I buy a used Lincoln Navigator now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2024 model is at −18.09% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −16.82%.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 22.6% good and great deals, and the 2023 model has 15.7%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $70,684 CAD. The Lincoln Navigator offers a spacious, premium cabin that suits long-distance family travel and everyday comfort.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The latest Navigator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, and it returned 13.9 litres per 100 kilometres observed fuel economy against an official 13.5 L/100 km combined rating.
• Tech: The latest model adds Lincoln Digital Experience, a 48-inch panoramic display, an 11.1-inch centre touchscreen control centre, Google Built-in, Alexa Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Phone As A Key.
• Safety: The latest model adds BlueCruise 1.4 with driver-signaled automatic lane changes, in-lane repositioning, and broader road coverage.
• Starting price: With a Canadian base price of nearly $130,000 CAD, the latest Navigator starts at a very high level.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
