Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: The 2025 Sorento LX returns an estimated 9.4 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, while the turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder is rated at 10.3 L/100 km in combined driving and averaged 10.0 L/100 km during evaluation.

Which Kia Sorento trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Sorento offers these trims:

• LX: This is the value-focused entry point, with the 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and the Sorento’s core family-SUV packaging.
• EX: This trim steps up to the turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder and suits buyers who want stronger performance with a broader equipment mix.
• X-Line: This trim adds a more rugged appearance, black badges, panoramic sunroof, and Highway Driving Assist.
• X-Line Limited: This trim builds on X-Line with a larger digital instrument panel, more advanced safety tech, and Highway Driving Assist 2.
• X-Pro: This is the best-value trim for shoppers who want the most capability and equipment, adding exclusive bumper covers, matte-black 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, enhanced utility roof rails, improved towing capacity, and the most advanced driver-assistance setup in the lineup.

What Kia Sorento do most buyers choose?

The Kia Sorento years with the most listings are 2020, 2019, and 2024.

These higher-volume model years tend to be popular because they give you a wider selection of trims, prices, and equipment levels. They also usually sit in the sweet spot where value, availability, and feature content overlap well for used shoppers.

What is the Kia Sorento's resale value?

The Sorento’s year-over-year price changes are negative across every model year shown, so used buyers are seeing broad price softening. The largest drops are all double-digit declines, which points to meaningful movement in the market rather than small fluctuations. The smallest declines are still substantial, but they suggest some newer model years are easing a bit less than the older ones.

The 2024, 2015, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
