Which Jeep Grand Cherokee trim should I buy?

The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers these trims:

• Laredo X: This trim continues with the Pentastar 3.6-litre V6 and adds the same standard 4WD foundation, giving you a straightforward step up from the entry model.
• Altitude: This trim adds leatherette upholstery and sits in the middle of the lineup for shoppers who want a more polished cabin without moving to the upper luxury trims.

What Jeep Grand Cherokee do most buyers choose?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee years with the most listings are 2022, 2020, and 2021.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and equipment mix. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more approachable used pricing.

What is the Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which can work in your favour if you’re shopping used. The newer models are also seeing meaningful price drops, while a few older years are falling even more sharply. Only one year in the table shows a small increase, so the overall pattern still favours buyers.

The 2014, 2023, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Jeep Grand Cherokee safe?

• 2026: 6/10
