Should I buy a used Hyundai Tucson Hybrid now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The Tucson Hybrid comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 226 combined horsepower, and 258 lb-ft of torque.
• Tech: The smaller 8-inch screen in lower grades offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in addition to standard Bluetooth.
• Safety: Move up to the Ultimate to also get a surround-view monitor, highway-driving assist, blind-spot view monitor, and remote smart park assist.
• Starting price: The entry-level Tucson Hybrid, the Luxury grade, is a compelling option in the compact crossover segment, but at $39,099 CAD, it's also pretty expensive.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
