What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only Palisade models have a Natural Resources Canada-estimated fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and 11.1 combined. Choose the XRT Pro trim and those figures rise to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined. With the hybrid trim, fuel consumption is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.
• Infotainment: A second 12.3-inch colour touchscreen is mounted front and centre in the dashboard and serves as the infotainment system hub, with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety package: The 2026 Palisade offers a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Which Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade offers these trims:

• Preferred Trend: The entry point to the lineup starts the 2026 Palisade range and gives you the redesigned model’s core family-SUV character at the lowest price.
• XRT Pro: This trim adds chunky all-terrain tires, 21.2 centimetres of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, a standard electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks front and rear, side parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, and a surround view monitor camera system with an overhead view. It suits buyers who want the most ruggedly equipped version.
• Luxury: This trim adds the hybrid powertrain as standard, along with the surround view monitor camera system and Bose audio system, making it the best-value choice for buyers who want a richer equipment mix.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: The top trim adds the 12-inch colour head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, evasive steering assist, and Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance, along with the most upscale cabin presentation.

What Hyundai Palisade do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Palisade years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and used-market value.

What is the Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The largest drops are in the double digits, so buyers have meaningful room to find value. Even so, some model years have softened less than others, which helps explain why certain recent versions remain especially popular.

The 2024, 2022, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
