What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only Palisade models have a Natural Resources Canada-estimated fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and 11.1 combined. Choose the XRT Pro trim and those figures rise to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined. With the hybrid trim, fuel consumption is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.
• Infotainment: A second 12.3-inch colour touchscreen is mounted front and centre in the dashboard and serves as the infotainment system hub, with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety package: The 2026 Palisade offers a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Which Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade offers these trims:

• Preferred Trend: The base trim starts at $56,744 CAD and gives you the redesigned Palisade with its standard V6 powertrain and broad family-SUV appeal.
• XRT Pro: This trim starts at $60,844 CAD and adds the off-road-oriented hardware, including chunky all-terrain tires, 21.2 centimetres of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks, and off-road display features.
• Luxury: Starting at $63,544 CAD, this is the best-value trim because it adds the hybrid powertrain and sits in the sweet spot for buyers who want more efficiency and a richer equipment mix.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: At $65,544 CAD, this top trim adds the most upscale finish, a 12-inch colour head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, and the most advanced driver-assistance content.

What Hyundai Palisade do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Palisade years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and used-market value.

What is the Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down by double digits year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want stronger value. The newer years show especially noticeable price movement, while the older years also continue to soften. That pattern gives you more room to find a well-equipped Palisade at a more approachable price than when it was new.

The 2022, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
