best handling, great acceleration, amazing braking, reliable, and easy/cheap to fix. highway got 44mpg with 3 people and a transmission in the hatch, and never got less than 30mpg no matter how hard I hit her. The best car I have ever owned.

Hondas great pocket-rocket. Its very small and rigid, originally made for track racing. Driving it feels like driving go-kart. It has 1.6L Dohc (vtec in some models) engine capable of producing 150 bhp. My CRX was equipped with Simons exhaust system, K&N high performance filter and engine tuning chip and Monroe sports suspension. So it was little more powerful than stock version. Every time I drove it I was in heaven. Every tight turn put this wide grin on my face. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good price sports coupe.

This car is all about lightness and agility! It's simply the best handling car I've ever driven. Turns can be sharp and quick, with minimal understeer, and surprising stability. The low stance of this car lets you know exactly what its engineering will allow you to do. If I could find a 1991 CRX Si in decent condition, that would be one of my first tuning projects. I learned to drive in this car, and from day one until the day the engine seized on the freeway, I loved it! The engine's demise was not my fault, by the way...my dad was driving it...I still can't forgive him for forgetting to change oil =P

This car is a sport compact classic! Super reliable, awesome gas mileage, fun to drive. I have own this thing for 8 years and never had any mayor problems. If you can find one in good condition buy it! I recommend the Si model but any other model with the 5 speed tranny.

I love my CRX. The handling is incredible, the acceleration could use a little work but thats what you get with 287000mi on the engine. The frame is strong but the body likes to rust. The exterior design is sleek and sharp, the interior is nice but could use a little work also. The gas mileage is amazing, i love being able to go upwords of 250mi w/ one tank of gas. This car is so much fun to drive, especially in the snow.
