What should I look for when buying a used GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, and traffic-sign recognition.
• Infotainment: an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in apps.

Which GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia offers these trims:

• Elevation: The entry trim brings 20-inch wheels in Canada and serves as the best-value starting point for shoppers who want the redesigned Acadia's space and tech without moving up the range.
• AT4: This trim adds model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, red tow hooks, black wheel-arch trim with marker lights, blacked-out trim, a twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride height lift, skid plates, and a Terrain drive mode.
• Denali: The Denali adds a more premium look with an intricate grille, leather seats, a fractal stitch pattern, and exclusive 22-inch wheel designs, making it the pick for shoppers who want the most upscale cabin presentation.

What GMC Acadia do most buyers choose?

The GMC Acadia years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume model years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also tend to sit in the sweet spot between newer features and used-car value.

What is the GMC Acadia's resale value?

Most Acadia model years are down year over year, which is good news if you're shopping used because it creates more room for value. The steepest drops are concentrated in older and recent redesign-era models, while a few years have moved down more gradually. The 2020, 2021, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
