What should I look for when buying a used Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning; the optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors.
• Infotainment: an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a digital instrument panel.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive (FWD) is estimated to return 7.8 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 in combined driving. The upgraded turbo engine with AWD should achieve 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer offers these trims:

• LS: The entry trim starts the lineup with the Trailblazer's core design and equipment, and it suits you if you want the most affordable way into the model.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for a small price increase, and it is the trim to target if you want the strongest balance of value and everyday drivability.
• Activ: This trim adds the 1.3-litre turbo engine and AWD, and it suits you if you want the version with the more adventurous character and the available AWD setup.
• RS: This top trim also pairs the 1.3-litre turbo engine with AWD, and it suits you if you want the most fully equipped Trailblazer in the lineup.

What Chevrolet Trailblazer do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Trailblazer years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

What is the Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The Trailblazer's used prices are moving lower across every model year shown, which can work in your favour if you're shopping for value. The double-digit declines suggest there are meaningful savings available, especially on newer examples that still bring recent features and equipment. The pattern also gives you room to compare years carefully and focus on the one that best matches your budget.

The 2022, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
