• Work Truck (WT): The entry trim gives you the plain work-truck look, standard tow hooks, and the core heavy-duty setup that suits buyers who want a straightforward truck for job-site duty.

What Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare, which can help you find the right trim, cab, and powertrain combination. They also tend to attract more attention from shoppers, which keeps the market active and gives you more choice.

What is the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it points to softer pricing across much of the lineup. A few years are moving in the opposite direction, showing that some Silverado 2500HD models are still holding value well. The biggest drops are concentrated in newer and mid-cycle years, which can create stronger buying opportunities for shoppers who want recent features without paying new-truck pricing.

The 2018, 2015, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
