The main trade-offs centre on the cramped back seat, limited cargo space, and the lane-departure warning system’s false alerts in the newest model. What Audi A3 do most buyers choose?

The Audi A3 years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2017.

Higher-volume model years usually draw more shoppers because they offer a broader mix of prices, trims, and availability. That makes them easier to compare and more likely to surface a good match for your budget and feature priorities.

What is the Audi A3's resale value?

Most Audi A3 model years are down year over year, and several recent years show double-digit declines. That creates a favourable setup for used buyers who want a newer A3 at a lower price than a year ago. The smallest changes appear in the older model years, which suggests those cars have moved less sharply than the newer ones.

The 2016, 2020, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Audi equips every 2025 A3 with Pre Sense Front, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring.
