What Acura MDX do most buyers choose?

The Acura MDX years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

Those higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of newer features, broad availability, and plenty of shopping choice. More listings also make it easier to compare condition, equipment, and pricing across similar vehicles.

What is the Acura MDX's resale value?

Most MDX model years in the table are down by double digits year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want stronger value. The newer model years are also seeing meaningful price movement, so recent inventory can be especially attractive if you’re comparing across multiple years. The smallest changes are clustered among the least-affected years in the table, while the biggest drops create more room for buyers to negotiate.

The 2023, 2025, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Acura MDX now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −10.57% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −14.34%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 31% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 34.4%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $52,037 CAD. The Acura MDX offers a comfortable cabin, strong family-friendly practicality, and a polished overall character.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Most MDX models have a 3.5-litre V6 engine under their hoods, and the MDX Type S Ultra swaps the naturally aspirated engine for a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 producing 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.
• Tech: A 12.3-inch digital instrumentation display pairs with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.5-inch head-up display is also equipped in Platinum Elite A-Spec and Type S Ultra models.
• Safety: Acura bundles most of the MDX’s driver aids into a package called AcuraWatch, and the more expensive variants offer a surround-view camera system.
• Starting price: Prices range from $72,115 to $94,015.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
