New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA for Sale near Port Hardy, BC

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns an 8.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Technology.

Mercedes redesigns the CLA as an electric entry-level fastback, and that shift gives you a compact luxury car with impressive range, a quiet cabin, and a strong technology story. It is aimed at you if you want a smaller Mercedes that feels modern and upscale rather than especially sporty. The trade-offs are that the base powertrain is underwhelming and the design may divide opinion.

31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is presented as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with electric Mercedes that should suit buyers who value refinement and everyday usability. Its electric powertrain and 800-volt charging setup suggest a modern ownership experience, and the cabin materials and technology are positioned as strengths.

The performance notes also point to a smooth, quiet driving character, with a comfortable ride and a two-speed transmission that helps balance low-speed response with highway efficiency. Mercedes also says the car can go from a 10-percent to an 80-percent state of charge in 22 minutes, which should make day-to-day use easier.

Mercedes says the CLA should come with the standard four-year/80,000 kilometre limited warranty, along with complimentary roadside assistance.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a first-year redesign with a new electric architecture, so you should be especially careful about software behaviour, charging performance, and any early-production issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin presentation changes meaningfully depending on equipment, with the passenger-side screen replacing a cheaper-looking trim piece in versions without the Superscreen. You should also pay attention to whether the car has the illuminated grille and the more elaborate lighting treatment, since those details help separate better-equipped versions from simpler ones.
• Powertrain: The single-motor CLA 250+ is the efficiency-focused choice, while the dual-motor CLA 350 4Matic adds more power. Both use an 85-kWh battery, and the car is tuned more for comfortable, confident driving than for quick acceleration.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition. Active steering, lane change assist, automatic lane change, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist may require extra equipment.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch driver display and a 14-inch centre display with the fourth-generation Mercedes MBUX system and MB.OS. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, OTA updates are supported, and augmented-reality navigation is available.
• Fuel efficiency: The single-motor CLA is rated at 673 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, while the AWD CLA 350 4Matic is rated at 655 kilometres. Mercedes says the car can add over 300 kilometres of range in 10 minutes on a 320 kW DC fast charger.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in 2 trim levels: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4Matic.

Here's the short version:

• CLA 250+: This is the better-value choice if you want the CLA’s core appeal: strong range, a comfortable ride, and the full modern Mercedes tech experience without paying for extra power you may not need. It is the trim that best matches the car’s easygoing character.
• CLA 350 4Matic: Choose this if you want the added punch of the dual-motor setup and are willing to pay more for it. It is the more powerful option, but the car’s overall personality still leans toward comfort and refinement rather than outright performance.

The standard safety package includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition, while active steering and lane change assist may cost extra.
