New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA for Sale nearNew Westminster, BC

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns an 8.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Technology.

Mercedes redesigns the CLA as an electric entry-level fastback, and that shift is what makes it distinctive. It is aimed at you if you want a compact luxury sedan with a premium interior, a quiet cabin, and strong technology in a smaller, more accessible package. The trade-offs are clear: the base powertrain is underwhelming, the design may be polarising, and advanced safety features are not standard.

That said, it still comes across as a compelling step for Mercedes-Benz EVs if you want comfortable, easy transportation with a luxury feel. 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is presented as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with EV with a standard Mercedes four-year/80,000 kilometre limited warranty and complimentary roadside assistance. Its electric powertrain and 800-volt charging setup also point to a modern, well-developed package.

The expert assessment also highlights a smooth, quiet driving experience and a comfortable ride, which supports the impression of a well-sorted daily driver. Mercedes’ charging integration and navigation features are described as especially strong, and the car’s technology is positioned as a major strength.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you are still buying an early-generation electric Mercedes-Benz compact sedan, so you should pay close attention to battery, charging, and software-related history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLA was shown with rear-wheel drive CLA 250+ and all-wheel drive CLA 350 4Matic models, and the cabin presentation changes with equipment. The passenger screen is part of the more upscale look, while cars without it get a cheaper-looking trim piece in its place.
• Powertrain: The single-motor CLA 250+ is described as the less powerful version, while the dual-motor CLA 350 4Matic adds much stronger output. The car uses an 85-kWh battery, a two-speed transmission, and an 800-volt charging system.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and a class-exclusive centre airbag. Active steering, lane change assist, automatic lane change, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist may require extra cost.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch driver display and a 14-inch centre display with the fourth-generation Mercedes MBUX system and MB.OS. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, OTA updates are supported, and augmented-reality navigation is available.
• Fuel efficiency: The single-motor CLA is rated at 673 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, while the AWD CLA 350 4Matic is rated at 655 kilometres. Mercedes says the car can add over 300 kilometres of range in 10 minutes on DC fast charging and go from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in 2 trim levels: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4Matic.

Here's the short version:

• CLA 250+: This is the better-value choice if you want the CLA’s core strengths without paying for the more powerful dual-motor setup. It still gives you the quiet, premium, tech-heavy experience that defines the car, and it is the version most aligned with the model’s comfort-first personality.
• CLA 350 4Matic: Choose this if you want the stronger performance and all-wheel drive. It is the more expensive option, but it adds the extra capability that the base model lacks.

The safety package includes standard adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and a centre airbag, while active steering, lane change assist, automatic lane change, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist may cost extra.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• The year stands out for bringing Mercedes-Benz EV technology into a smaller, more accessible compact luxury package.

The bottom line: If you want the newest CLA’s electric-first identity, premium cabin, and strong technology, the 2026 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may make sense, but you should still prioritise the version that best matches your needs for power, range, and equipment.
